Payment Methods and Fees

a.school supports multiple payment methods so schools can choose what works best for their families. Each option has different processing fees and considerations.

Below is a breakdown of the current fees for credit/debit card payments and ACH (bank transfer) payments.

Credit and Debit Card Payments

Card payments are the most familiar and widely used option for families.

Fees: 3.2% + $0.30 per transaction

Bank Transfer (ACH) Payments

ACH payments allow families to pay directly from their bank accounts. This option is often more cost-effective for larger or recurring payments. Fees include:

• 0.8% per transaction (capped at $5)
• 1.4% platform fee

Because ACH payments involve bank connections and verification, there are a few additional operational fees applied by Stripe:

• Bank Account Verification: $1.50
• Failed Payment: $4.00
• Dispute: $15.00
