Changing a Class’ Status

You can change the status of a class to either Active or Read Only to enable or disable participation in the class.

If disabled, students and users will still be able to access and read course content, but won’t be able to submit assignments and other content, chat or communicate. 

Here’s how you change the status of a class:

• Using the side navigation, click Classes.
• Select the class whose status you would like to change.
• Click Settings.
• Click Edit.
• Under Status, select “Active” or “Read Only” from the dropdown menu to enable or disable participation.
• Once you’re happy with your selection, click Update Class.
