Class Rolling

Class rolling is a feature that allows you to move a class from one time period to another. This is a time-saving tool that lets you simply move a class rather than create it from scratch.

Rolling a class means that the class will hold its settings and specific setup across periods. You also have the option to copy over instructors as well as existing student enrollments if you need to.

Before you can roll a class, you’ll need to have created at least two periods for the class to roll between (you can read more about creating time periods here.) Classes can only be rolled once per period.

When rolling a class, you will also have to change the schedule dates to fit the new time period. If the new dates are not defined, then the start and end dates of the time period will be used as the date limits for a class.
