Why Am I Being Asked to Verify my Business Information?
In order to receive monetary payouts, you’ll need to enter your bank details as well as verify some information with our payments partner, Stripe. We’ve partnered with Stripe in order to ensure you receive fast and safe payouts to your bank account. In order to get verified, Stripe will request your business details and some personal information. You can enter this information from the School Billing Page. I’ve already verified my information – why am I receiving a notification to verify my business information again?
At some point, you may receive an email from a.school asking you to confirm some business information. Stripe and the underlying banking system may request that you re-enter your business information, and some personal information of the person who’s legally responsible for your business, in order to comply with industry standards.
While payouts should continue normally, we encourage you to get your business details verified as soon as possible to avoid delays or any other problems. As a good rule of thumb, we recommend entering as much as you can in the business details form as a way of increasing the likelihood of the account getting verified.
