What is a Lesson?

A lesson is a collection of activities that take place in a specific class.

Creating a Lesson

There are various ways to create a lesson. The first is by heading to Manage > Lessons in the side or quick navigation, and then clicking on the plus sign in the upper right corner. Insert a title, image, and description, then click “Add Lesson.”

You can also create lessons directly in a class and course. Lessons created at a course level are automatically included in any classes that are scheduled from that course.

Once you’ve created a lesson then you can then start to add activities. You can read more about activities here.

Creating a Lesson from a Class

You can also create lessons in a class by heading to Manage > Classes > Select Existing Class > Lessons Tab, then selecting Add Lesson > New Lesson. Include the title, image, and description, then click “Add Lesson.”

If it’s a class, you can also specify the period and location.

Copy from another Class

Head to Manage > Classes > Select Existing Class > Lessons tab. Click on “Add Lesson” then select the lesson in question, then select “Copy Lesson to Class.”

Copy by Scheduling a Class from a Course

All lessons that belong to a course will be mass-copied to classes that are an instance of that course.
